- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well to create your sauce.
- Pour the lemon-garlic butter mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets, making sure each fillet is well coated.
- Place lemon slices on top of the fillets if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- For a slightly crisp top, broil for the final 2 minutes (optional).
- Garnish with additional fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
