Ingredients
  

  • 4 tilapia fillets about 4-6 oz each
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well to create your sauce.
  4. Pour the lemon-garlic butter mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets, making sure each fillet is well coated.
  5. Place lemon slices on top of the fillets if desired.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  7. For a slightly crisp top, broil for the final 2 minutes (optional).
  8. Garnish with additional fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
