Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the beef tenderloin roast in a shallow baking dish or roasting pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and soy sauce, whisking until well blended.
- Pour the butter-soy mixture over the tenderloin, turning to coat all sides evenly.
- Place in the preheated oven and roast for approximately 45-50 minutes for medium-rare, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 135°F (57°C).
- Remove from oven and tent loosely with aluminum foil. Let the meat rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Slice the tenderloin into 1/2-inch medallions and serve immediately, drizzling with the pan juices.
