Making hard-boiled eggs in the oven is a great alternative, and a foolproof way to achieve perfectly cooked eggs without needing to boil water!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 large eggs room temperature works best
  • Ice for cooling bath
  • Water for ice bath

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place each egg in a cup of a muffin tin.
  3. Carefully transfer the muffin tin to the middle rack of your preheated oven.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes for perfectly set yolks.
  5. Prepare an ice bath while eggs are baking by filling a large bowl with ice and cold water.
  6. When baking time is complete, immediately transfer eggs to the ice bath using tongs.
  7. Let eggs cool completely in the ice bath for at least 10 minutes.
  8. Gently crack and peel your eggs when they're cool enough to handle.
