Ingredients
  

  • 1 20 ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • cups buttery cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss drained pineapple chunks with 1 cup of shredded Cheddar.
  3. Combine cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt in another bowl until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the pineapple-and-cheese mixture in the prepared dish, smoothing into an even layer.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of Cheddar over the pineapple layer.
  6. Top with the buttery cracker crumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
