Pork Steak Skillet Dinner

Pork steak never tasted better than with this simple one-skillet stovetop method. Tender pork butt steaks are seared to golden perfection in fragrant butter & soy sauce, then finished with fresh green onions.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 pork butt steaks about 1 inch thick
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients and season the pork steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter until it foams.
  3. Add the pork steaks and sear 5 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Pour soy sauce around the steaks and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle green onions, cover, and reduce heat to medium-low for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
