Method
- Place 1 tablespoon butter in your microwave-safe mug and microwave for about 15-20 seconds until melted. Swirl to coat the inside of the mug.
- Add the egg to the mug and beat well with a fork until frothy.
- Add the almond flour, baking powder, and salt to the mug. Mix thoroughly until well combined and no lumps remain.
- If using any optional seasonings, stir them in now.
- Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your microwave's power.
- Let the bread cool for about 1 minute before running a knife around the edge and turning it out onto a plate.
- For extra crispiness, slice the bread and toast it in a toaster or skillet for 1-2 minutes.
