- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Place the flounder fillets in the prepared dish. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and lemon juice until well combined.
- Scatter the sliced onion over the fillets, then drizzle the lemon-butter mixture evenly on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Let rest 2 minutes before serving.
