Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound flounder fillets
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Place the flounder fillets in the prepared dish. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and lemon juice until well combined.
  4. Scatter the sliced onion over the fillets, then drizzle the lemon-butter mixture evenly on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Let rest 2 minutes before serving.
