Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon maple extract
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in maple extract and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  6. Allow syrup to cool completely before transferring to a glass bottle or jar.
