Restaurant-Style Chicken Nachos Recipe

Chicken nachos are easy to make with your favorite tortilla chips, shredded chicken, salsa, tomato, and cheese for a great meal or snack to share!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 bag 10 oz tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 large tomato diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños chopped onions, fresh cilantro, sour cream, guacamole

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with canola oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spread half of the tortilla chips in an even layer on the baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle half of the chicken, cheese, salsa, and diced tomato over the chips. Repeat the layers with remaining chips and toppings.
  5. Place in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven. Top with jalapeños, onions, cilantro, sour cream, and guacamole. Serve hot!
