- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, melt butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Stir in chopped parsley and keep warm.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti.
- Return the hot pasta to the pot, pour in the melted butter and parsley mixture, and toss to coat.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, adding a splash of reserved pasta water until you reach a silky, saucy consistency.
- Season generously with salt and pepper, then plate and garnish with extra cheese and parsley.
