- Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Place squash halves cut-side up on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle sea salt and cayenne pepper evenly.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until tender and the edges turn golden brown.
- Flip the slices halfway through baking for even caramelization and crisping.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice into ½-inch crescents.
