Ingredients
  

  • 2 heads broccoli separated into florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon juiced

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 15–18 minutes, stirring halfway, until edges are golden and broccoli is tender-crisp.
  5. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Toss gently to combine.
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with extra lemon zest or a sprinkle of parmesan, if desired.
