Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs about 10–12 sheets
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

  • 1 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil, letting excess hang over the sides. Lightly grease the paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs until evenly coated.
  4. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a solid crust.
  5. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust, spreading gently as needed.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts in that order over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before using the parchment to lift them out and slicing into squares.
