- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice blend all over the ribs to build a flavorful crust.
- Coil the ribs inside the slow cooker. If needed, cut the rack into sections to fit snugly.
- Pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs, ensuring every crevice is coated for maximum flavor.
- Cover and cook on the low setting for 4–5 hours, or until ribs are tender and easily pull away from the bone.
- Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with extra sauce, and broil for 3–4 minutes until the sauce bubbles and caramelizes (optional).
- Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes, slice between bones, garnish with parsley or green onions, and serve.
