Slow Cooker Barbeque

Melt-in-your-mouth slow cooker BBQ beef. Chuck roast is seasoned with garlic powder and onion powder, then cooked low and slow in your crockpot for 6–8 hours.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pound boneless chuck roast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups bottled barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Pat the chuck roast dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned roast in the slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over the top.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, until the meat shreds easily.
  4. Remove the roast, shred it with two forks, then return the meat to the sauce.
  5. Serve on buns, over rice, or as desired.
