Method
- Pat the chuck roast dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned roast in the slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over the top.
- Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, until the meat shreds easily.
- Remove the roast, shred it with two forks, then return the meat to the sauce.
- Serve on buns, over rice, or as desired.
