- Place the beef stew meat, condensed mushroom soup, chopped onion, water, and Worcestershire sauce into the slow cooker. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 hours (or on high for 3 hours) until the beef is fork-tender.
- About 15 minutes before serving, add the cubed cream cheese. Stir gently until the sauce is luxuriously creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the beef stroganoff over egg noodles or rice, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
