Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound cubed beef stew meat
  • 1 10.5-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese cubed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Place the beef stew meat, condensed mushroom soup, chopped onion, water, and Worcestershire sauce into the slow cooker. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours (or on high for 3 hours) until the beef is fork-tender.
  3. About 15 minutes before serving, add the cubed cream cheese. Stir gently until the sauce is luxuriously creamy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the beef stroganoff over egg noodles or rice, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
