Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 2 lb pork tenderloin, trimmed
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Method
 

  1. Pat the pork tenderloin dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the tenderloin on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  3. Transfer the seared pork to the slow cooker.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and chicken broth.
  5. Pour the mixture over the pork, making sure it’s evenly coated.
  6. Cover and cook on Low for 4 hours, or until the pork reaches 145°F and is tender.
  7. Remove the pork, let it rest 5 minutes, then slice and serve drizzled with the cooking juices.
