Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

This tender slow cooker turkey breast is easy to make with just two ingredients. Set it up in the morning and be ready for a delicious turkey dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 6 pound bone-in turkey breast, skin on
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional herbs rosemary, thyme and garlic for extra flavor

Method
 

  1. Rinse the turkey breast under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season all over with salt, pepper, and any optional herbs or garlic for extra aroma.
  2. Place the turkey breast skin-side up in the crockpot. Cover with the lid.
  3. Cook on LOW for 8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part of the breast.
  4. Once done, transfer the turkey to a cutting board and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
