- Whisk together eggs, sugar, and dark corn syrup in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.
- Carefully pour the filling into the pie crust, then sprinkle the pecan halves evenly on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 400°F, then reduce the heat to 325°F (165°C) and bake for an additional 35–40 minutes, until the filling is set with a slight jiggle in the center.
