Ingredients
  

  • 6 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 bottle 16 oz Italian dressing
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning optional, for extra flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the chicken breast halves in a large baking dish, arranging them in a single layer.
  3. Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken, making sure each piece is well-coated. If using the optional garlic and Italian seasoning, sprinkle them evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours, or until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. For a slightly crispy exterior, remove the foil during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired, and serve with your favorite sides.
