  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Use a fork to flatten each ball, creating the classic crisscross pattern. Pro Tip: Dip the fork in sugar to prevent sticking.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are set but the cookies remain soft in the center.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
