- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix crumbled bread and milk; let sit until absorbed.
- In a large bowl, add ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and soaked crumbs. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape into 1-inch meatballs (about 24 total) and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour to form a roux, then slowly add beef broth and cream. Simmer until sauce thickens, stirring constantly.
- Add baked meatballs to the gravy, spoon sauce over, and heat through for 2–3 minutes.
