Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups mixed berries 1 cup blackberries, 1 cup raspberries, 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup 2 sticks cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, gently toss mixed berries with sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Transfer to the prepared dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the crumb topping over the berry layer, covering all fruit pockets.
  5. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling around the edges.
  6. Let your crumble rest 10 minutes to thicken. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
