- Prep your ingredients. Let the ice cream sit on the counter for 1–2 minutes so it softens slightly.
- Blend until smooth. In a blender, combine the softened ice cream and 2–3 tablespoons of cold milk (optional for looser consistency). Blend on medium speed for 20–30 seconds.
- Pour and garnish. Divide the shake between two glasses. Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, or chocolate syrup if desired.
- Serve immediately. Insert a straw and enjoy your creamy homemade shake before it melts!
