- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Position the rack in the center.
- Place the butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and let it melt while the oven warms.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the batter is perfectly smooth.
- Carefully remove the hot dish from the oven, swirl the melted butter to coat the bottom and sides, then pour in the batter.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are puffed up and the top is a light golden brown.
- Slice into wedges, dust with powdered sugar or serve with maple syrup and fresh berries.
