- Gather the ingredients. Tip: Let chicken rest at room temperature for 10 minutes so it cooks evenly.
- In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Place chicken in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over the top. Seal and refrigerate for 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F). Brush grates with oil to prevent sticking.
- Remove chicken from marinade, shaking off excess. Grill each breast for about 6–7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
